In 1860 she is with Owen (22) and Bridget (40)  Smith, and Michael (15), Peter (13), 
Ann(10),  and Rosey (6). So Owen must be Bridget's step-son, son of Eugene, who 
must be dead by now.

gives mother's name as Mary). So what is Catherine doing in that grave? Is John her 
husband's brother?

Per the 1900 census, this Catherine Joyce is b March 1839, married 39 years (1861), 
has 9 children, 7 alive, oldest surviving born in 1866. In 1900 living on Germantown 
Avenue. Children: Mary, Margaret, Coleman, Maurice, David

In 1870, no street, oldest child Morris, b 1861
Per her death cert her maiden name is Bennett, so it is not her
