Obituary - Medina County Gazette, May 1, 1965, P. 1: Garrett E. Pritchard - A life-long 
resident of Medina County, Garrett E. Pritchard, 81, died in Crestview Nursing Home, 
Friday evening. He ha been ill for several months. Pritchard, who worked for Ohio Fuel 
Gas Co. for 17 years, was a farmer and contractor for most of his life. The deceased 
leaves his wife, Clara (Glenke), and a son, Robert, both of Medina Township; a sister, 
Adelaide Pritchard, and a brother, Joseph, both of Cleveland. A second brother, 
James died in 1965. Friends may call at the Waite & Son Memorial Home in Medina 
from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Sunday. Services will be held 
in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Alfred Stein of the Medina Lutheran 
Church officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Grove Cemetery.
