Sabath Marco "Al" Frasca, 84, of 102 Sandpiper Lane, Mauldin, died unexpectedly 
early Friday morning, April 8th, 2011.

Born in Forest Park, IL, he was the son of the late Marco and Rose Rodia Frasca.

He was a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago and served honorably in the U.S. 
Navy during WW II.

Al started his career as an accountant with Fry Roofing Company, advancing through 
the sales ranks to become General Manager of their Summit Wholesale Supply 
Division in the Chicago area. In the 1970's, Al became owner and President of 
Berkheimer's Roofing in the northwest United States. Upon retirement, Al moved to 
Greenville, where he was actively involved in Meals on Wheels. The importance of 
Rotary was evidenced by his 42 years of perfect attendance and Paul Harris 
achievement.

He is survived by his loving family, wife, Sally Frasca, of the home; daughters and 
sons-in-law, Sue and Eugene Duewel of St. Charles, IL, Marcy and Curt Howard of 
Marietta, GA, Pamela Smith of Safety Harbor, FL; Cheryl and Henry Eastland of 
Colorado Springs, CO, and Christine and George Chacon of Sacramento, CA; 
grandchildren, Julie (Jason) Barker, Cameron (Haley) Howard, Jenny (Cliff) Daniels, 
Jessica (John) Pernell, Terrence Morris, Gina (Rob) Shaffer and Erin (Joe) 
Grochowski; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Frasca is at The Mackey Mortuary where the family will receive friends Monday 
from 12:00p.m. until 12:45p.m. with services to follow at 1:00p.m. with the Reverend 
Dr. Nick Ballew officiating. Interment will follow in Chicago, IL. Members of the 
Simpsonville Rotary Club will serve as honorary pallbearers.
