Michael Joseph Vorgity, 64, of Northampton, formerly of Whitehall, died March 9, 2010 in the Inpatient 
Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Renee G. (Boyer) 
Vorgity. He was a Divisional Manager for former Holiday Hair Fashions in Allentown from 1971 to 1993. Prior 
to that, he was the owner and operator of Mister Vs Hair Salon in Allentown. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he 
was the son of Josephine (DiZenzo) Vorgity of Allentown and the late Emil J. Vorgity. He was an Army 
Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Coplay. He was a past 
member of the Fullerton Fire Company and the Fullerton American Legion. He was a graduate of the 
Allentown School of Cosmetology.

Survivors: Mother; daughters, Angela R. Scott of Whitehall, and Nicole R., wife of Matthew Crum of 
Whitehall; brother, Eric J. Vorgity and his wife, Rosemary of Shillington; sister, Pati Ann wife of Dennis 
Schweikert of Whitehall; grandchildren, Kayla Crum, Bryce Crum, Alexa Crum, Nicholas Scott, and 
Madeline Scott. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan T. Vorgity, and a brother, Emil P. Vorgity.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church 4 S. 5th 
St. Coplay. Call Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Church.

Interment, Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall. Arrangments, J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
