EMIL J. VORGITY

Emil J. Vorgity, 82, of 3370 S. 2nd St., Whitehall Township, formerly of Allentown, died 
Monday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Josephine (DiZenzo) Vorgity. 
They were married 59 years in June.

He was a salesman for Carborundum, Bristol, Bucks County, for many years, until 
retiring. After retiring, he was a van driver for senior citizens in Lehigh County for five 
years.

Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Peter and Teresa (Goetz) Vorgity.

Survivors: Wife; sons, Michael J. of Whitehall, Eric J. of Shillington, Berks County, 
and Emil P. of Kerrville, Texas; daughter, Pati-Ann, wife of Dennis Schweikert of 
Whitehall; brothers, Peter of Medford, N.J., John of Elmtowne, N.J., and Daniel of 
Philadelphia; sister, Mrs. Joan Schmidt of Allentown; eight grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Susan T.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, 
Allentown. Call 1-2 p.m. Thursday.
