Clarence Woodworth
 With Rev. W. C. Erickson, pastor of the Gonzales Community church, in charge of the 
funeral rites, graveside services were held Tuesday morning for Clarence W. 
Woodworth at Gonzales Community Cemetery.
 The deceased passed away Friday evening in the Veteran's hospital at Palo Alto, 
where he had been ill for the past 20 years.
 A veteran of World War I, serving in Co. G, 159th Infantry, the six pallbearers were 
Faddella, Austin Turner, Joe Tavernetti, O. W. Sommer, Jack Hynding and Leslie 
McBride.
 He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Woodworth, early day Gonzales 
ranchers, and was born here 64 years ago.
 He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rhea George, and Mrs. Estelle Gallaway of 
Hollister and two brothers, Leslie E. Woodworth of Salinas and Manning Woodworth of 
Gonzales.
 The Struve & Laporte Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
