on 8 May 1911 on the Duca Degli Abruzzi arrives the following:
Rodia Luigi, 24, farmer, where lived with mother Carmina
I cannot find Luigi Rodia (using variant spellings), so perhaps he also went back to 
Italy with Pietro (except there is no passport application for him). In 1930 I find Luigi 
Rodia, 1724 7th St, divorced, a real estate dealer, born in Italy, arrived in the US in 
1911. That must be him. The mystery of where he is in 1920 may be solved by this 
entry from the Sept 22 1922 Philadelphia Inquirer: "Court of Common Pleas No 2 for 
the County of Philadelphia. Order of Publication in Divorce. To Rosina Rodia, late of 
Chicago, Ill. Whereas Louis A. Rodia, your husband, has filed a libel in the Court of 
Common Pleas No. 2 of Philadelphia Co. of June Term. 1922, No. 433 praying a 
divorce against you. Now you are hereby notified and required to appear in said Court 
on or before Monday, the 2nd day of October next, to answer the complaint of the said 
Louis A. Rodia, and in default of such appearance you will be liable to have a divorce 
granted in your absence. Robert E. Lamberton, Sheriff of Philadelphia." Not him. 
There's another Luigi Rodia, probably a cousin.

AHA. WW1 draft reg, as Luigi Rodio, 527 Rising Sun Ave., Phila, b 20 Apr 1884, 
laborer Matthews Leather Works, nearest relative Mrs. Carmina Rodio in Province 
Avellino. short, slender, brown eyes, black hair. His signature is Rodia, rest of 
handwriting is different, so person writing it down must have used Rodio in error.
