Robert Joseph Scaringi of Reamstown, Pa. Robert Joseph Scaringi, 58, of 
Reamstown, went home to the Lord. "Robert's eternal spirit and smile will live with his 
family and friends forever". He died peacefully following a lengthy, courageous battle 
with cancer on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Hospice of Lancaster County, 
Mount Joy. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Doris E. (Allison) (Scaringi) Ulisny 
of Denver, Pa. and of the late Thomas A. Scaringi, Sr. Robert worked for Trego 
Trucking Company in Lionville as a truck driver for many years, before going to Fort 
Lauderdale, Fla., where he graduated from cosmetology school, and worked at a 
barber shop and salon. He also was very active with the Salvation Army, singing in the 
choir and preaching in the Chapel. Robert enjoyed fishing, and hunting, he loved 
riding motorcycles and had fun cooking. He also enjoyed spending time with his many 
friends. Robert is survived by his mother, Doris Scaringi Ulisny; his brothers, Thomas 
Scaringi, Jr. of Phoenixville, Daniel Scaringi of Glenmoore and Barry Scaringi of 
Reamstown: also four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his 
father, Thomas A. Scaringi, Sr., sister, Joan Marie Summers, and grandmother, Evelyn 
Allison Piergrossi. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert's Funeral 
Mass to be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 
146 Church Street, Phoenixville. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 
Phoenixville. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, in the church. If 
desired, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be sent to Hospice of 
Lancaster County, Inpatient Care Center, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 
17552. Any condolences may be sent to Barry Scaringi, or to Doris Ulisny, P.O. Box
