Obituary 
John "Nick" Zappone, 73, Kansas City, KS, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012, 
at Presbyterian Manor. A prayer service for "Nick" will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 
4, at Joseph A. Butler & Son Funeral Home, 19th & Minnesota Ave. Funeral Mass and 
inurnment will be in Pennsylvania. Nick was born November 21, 1939, in Phoenixville, 
PA, to Nicholas and Rose (Freese) Zappone. He moved to Kansas City 40 years ago. 
Nick was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and three brothers. He leaves 
his sister, Anne Marie Zappone DiGuiseppi of Royersford, PA, many nieces, nephews
