Funeral services for the victims will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the 
residence of Mrs. Ralph Argenie, 2729 Barson Avenue, and from St. Paul's Catholic 
Church at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, with Lige Loy in charge.



Mrs. Vigilant is survived by her husband and one daughter, Caroline Vigilant.



Active pallbearers for Mrs. Vigilant will be Sol Cafanzano, Tony Culeonardi, Antony 
Carbalo, Leo Lumbardo, John Nappi and Dr. Ben Lapienaz. Honorary pallbearers for 
both victims will be J. C. Catanazano, Jacob Burger, Sam Trippi, Phillip Lumbardo, G.

NOTE: Juliet Vigilante and her mother Elizabeth Romeo were attacked with an axe by 
an unknown assailant who tried to rob their grocery store. Elizabeth died at the scene, 
and Juliet died a couple of days later. (The killer left Juliet's toddler child Caroline 
unharmed.)
