Pombo, Joann (nee Vigorito), age 99 of Pompton Plains, Pequannock Twsp. on 
October 24, 2019. Beloved wife of the late John M. Pombo (2005). Loving mother of 
Diane Book and her husband Peter of Pine Brook and Vincent Pombo and his wife 
Donna of Montville. Dear grandmother of Jamy Beth Sesselman, Tracy Schramm, 
Jessica Pena and Christopher Book. Devoted great grandmother of William Sesselman, 
Charley Sesselman, Kayla Schramm, Ryan Schramm, Jadon Pena, Siena Pena and 
Michael Book. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she 
lived in West Paterson most of her life before moving to Pompton Plains in 2006. She 
was an Assembly Line Worker for Shulton, Clifton, for many years before retiring in 
1983. Joann was a great cook and she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. She was very 
joyful and cherished time spent with grandchildren and family. Relatives and friends 
are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union 
Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii 
Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Masuoleum, 
Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Donations in her memory may be
