Filomena Masi, age 84 of Trumbull passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 2, 2014 
at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinando and Nicolina Masi. 
She graduated from Warren Harding High School and has been a Trumbull resident for 
the past 50 years.

Filomena was employed by Columbia Records and later retired from Dupont Remington 
Arms where she worked for 37 years.

She enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, grandnieces 
and grandnephews.

She is survived by her loving  brother Dr. Anthony V. Masi and his wife Ann Marie of 
Shelton, sister-in-law Rose Masi, nephews and nieces, Fred Masi and his wife Cindy, 
of Maine, Deborah Sullivan of Newtown, Jeffrey Masi and his wife Christine of 
Fairfield, Vincent Masi of Maryland, Dr. Paul Masi of Wallingford, Anna Maria 
Bobkowski and her husband Tom of Newtown, David Masi and his wife Mimi of 
Massachusetts, Anthony Masi Jr. and his wife Lisa of Trumbull, Christopher Masi and 
his wife Kathy of Trumbull, Jonathan Masi of Shelton, and many grandnieces and 
nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Fred Masi, and 
Vincent Masi and his wife Antoinette, and sister-in-law Deanna Masi.

Her family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of the 
Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at St. Vincent’s M.C., Wound Healing Center in 
Monroe, the Jewish Home especially the staff of Bennett 3, and her physicians, 
Edward Kosinski, Kenneth Nori, Jitendra Bharucha, Vittoria Gassman and Philip 
Falcone for their care and comfort.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00am in Christ the King Church, Trumbull 
with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds. 
Friends may call Monday morning 9:00am – 10:15am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral 
Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
