ANGELLO, SALVATORE A. "SAM", 82, of Hammonton died Monday at Wm. B. Kessler 
Memorial Hospital in Hammonton. Born in Carbondale, PA he was a longtime resident 
of the Hammonton area. Before his retirement, Mr. Angello worked as a service 
technician for Suburban Propane in Hammonton, and also worked as a cook for 
Columbia Catering in Hammonton. Mr. Angello was an Army Veteran of World War II. 
He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Hammonton, and its Holy 
Name Society. He did volunteer work and frequently cooked at church functions. Mr. 
Angello was also a member of the St. John the Baptist Society, Knights of Columbus 
Pallotti Council No. 3471 both in Hammonton. He was a honorary member of the 
Hammonton Rescue Squad, and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in 
Hammonton. Mr. Angello was predeceased by his wife, Caroline "Dolly" Angello. He is 
survived by one son and daughter in law, Samuel A. and Patrizia Angello, Jr. of 
Hammonton; two daughters and son in laws, Carolyn and Dennis Santora of 
Hammonton and Victoria and Fred Gottschling of Bensalem, PA; one brother Angelo 
Angello of Linwood; one sister, Mary Masi of Hammonton; six grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 9:30am at 
St. Joseph's R.C. Church, N. Third St. in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy 
Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. Viewing will be held Wednesday after 7:00pm and 
Thursay after 8:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street, 
Hammonton. Donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg 
Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
