Principis Abellinatum proprie ubi Aque fluminis et sauane se conjungunt, ibidem illi 
adhuc vivo abscissum fuit caput, ac cirumactum per quamplurimas Regiones in 
Triumphum, tandem collocatu fuit in procerrima trabe ante ecclesiam Parochialem S. 
Petri Casalis S. Lucie, hujus Status Serini, reliqum vero corpus quiescit in fovea illi 
preparata post turrum Campanariam Parochialis Eccl, predicte, ubit parier die. s. m. 
julii collocaverant corpus Pascalis Renzullo Sodalis abscissa pariter ceriuce acsimilier 
in trimphum circum") ("He escaped from the prison of the city of Avellino, to which he 
was condemned along with other crimes, and afterwards, without ceasing, he roamed 
through Campania, committing various kinds of most heinous crimes, encouraging the 
debauchery of honest girls. On the aforementioned day, he was wounded by a blow 
from a gun in the countryside where it is commonly called Camillara, the council of 
Avellino, properly where the waters of the river and the savannah join together. There, 
while still alive, his head was cut off and he was paraded through several regions in 
triumph. Finally, he was placed on a very tall beam in front of the parish church of S. 
Peter of Casale, S. Lucia, of this State of Serino, while the rest of his body rests in a 
pit prepared for him behind the bell tower of the parish church, aforesaid, on the same 
day. On the ___ of July, they had placed the body of Pasquale Renzullo, a member of 
the Society, cut off in a similar manner in a circle around the same place.")
