S.Stephani, corpora vero membratim concisa infrequenioribus hujus Status loci 
collacta tuste." ("Adjoined to a man of ill repute, and guilty of various crimes, he was 
imprisoned with his companions in the Prisons of Avellino, escaped by breaking 
through the wall with Giuseppe Agnes, Carmelo Carrafiello, and to others Correis. and, 
repeating his love for worse crimes throughout Campania, he was again captured by 
the Satellites of the Royal Tribunal of Monte Fusco in the Olearies forest, finally 
condemned to the gallows and ended his life by hanging together with above 
mentioned Carmelo of the Parish of S. Sossio, legitimate and natural son of Michael 
Angelo and Teresa Agnes, and having cut off their heads, they were circulated in a 
circle through various regions, the head of the first was attached to a certain wall in 
the village of S. Sossio, the head of the second in the Land of S.Stephani, but the 
bodies were cut into pieces and placed in the rarer places of this State.")
