Richard N. Lombardo passed on October 10, 2025. Beloved husband to Anna M. 
Lombardo (Buffa); loving son of the late Natale and Mary (Rodia) Lombardo; dearest 
brother to Albert (Jean) Lombardo and the late Peter (Rita) Lombardo.
Richard was born and raised in South Philadelphia, married his high school sweetheart 
Anna (they remained married for more than 70 years) and moved to Cherry Hill, New 
Jersey where they spent many wonderful years. During his working years, Richard was 
in the fashion industry, assisting many individual clients build their wardrobes and 
helping them find the perfect attire for any occasion. Among other personal interests 
Richard loved dogs (especially Minky and Coco), cars and travel. He and Anna shared 
many ocean cruises together, often times with friends and relatives, and more than a 
couple of trips to Las Vegas. In later years Richard took up the sport of racket ball 
devoting many hours to the sport, Richard became an accomplished player, and a 
desired double partner, among the friends who played with him at local gyms and 
tournaments. Richard had a special affection not only for his dear wife, and family 
members, but also for his nieces and nephews and their children, always remembering 
them on birthdays and special occasions. Richard was the first to offer help to his 
family and friends and when he needed a helping hand the neighbors he cherished 
and whose friendship he enjoyed for many years stepped in to help, their care gave 
him great comfort and peace of mind. All in all, Richard led a wonderful life.
In addition to his beloved wife Anna and brother Albert, Richard is survived by his 
niece Denise Giorgio Matusky (Pat) and their children Melissa (Mark Graney), Matthew 
and Mackenzie; and nephew Robert (Karen Connor) Giorgio and their children Angie 
and Joseph. Also, his cousins Elaine and Paul, other loving relatives, and dear 
neighborhood friends.
Richard's relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday 
October 15th, at Christ our Light Church, 402 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034, with 
a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 AM, and internment promptly thereafter at Calvary 
Cemetery and Chapel, Route 70 Cherry Hill.
In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to the Galloway Township Ambulance 
Squad, 300 E. Jimmie Leeds Rd. Galloway, NJ 08205.
