Ciaglia Nunzio, 21-year-old soldier.
Son of Felice and Ricciardelli Berardina, he was born in Troiani di Serino on March 
25, 1924. The registry was censored by his sister Maria, who was also born in Serino 
on 26.10.1916, and to the son of her Ottavio Galasso conceived out of marriage by 
Giuseppe Galasso. Son then legitimized by a court ruling in 1949. His brother Antonio 
Ciaglia, we find him settled in Santa Lucia di Serino, in Via Moscati. In 1950 both the 
Chaglia and the Galasso emigrated to Argentina.

Nunzio Ciaglia, class 1924, ends the mandatory leverage stop on December 2, 1942. 
Called to arms, following Italy's entry into the war alongside Germany, he is placed in 
the 6th Bersaglieri Regiment to be then transferred to the 7th Regiment (See F. M. No. 
0076140/3 of 30 May 1943 and registered on the S.M.R.D. of 16 August 1943) and 
sent to the front.
After September 8, the Germans take him prisoner (we don't get the location) and 
deported to Germany. He ceases to live, in 1945, in the internment camp of Munster, 
Stalag nr. VI, Baracca No. 7. From the medical report we learn that he dies '' from 
basal essudative pleuritis, malaria and glaudolar t.b.c. glaudolar ". As reported on the 
Ministerial Post-Bellica Assistance sheet. Information Office, Milan, Prot. nr. nr. mu / 
510 / r of 17 December 1945.

position: Box 5, row X, grave 4.
