MUNCIE - Delores Jean Bush, 81, of Muncie, IN, went home to be with the lord on 
March 3, 2012.

She was born in Muncie and attended Muncie Community Schools.

She worked at Ball Corporation, Wells Department Store and Duffy Tool and Stamping. 
She was a loving wife and wonderful mother and the best grandmother anyone could 
ask for. She loved attending any event that her children, grand children and great 
grandchildren were participating in.

She enjoyed the friendship of everyone she met and became familiar with especially 
her neighbors. She also loved attending Center Chapel United Methodist Church. She 
enjoyed baking cakes and special desserts for her family and friends for their special 
occasions. She also cherished making blankets and sweater sets for all of her 
grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and continued 
Alden's passion for feeding the birds and squirrels that they loved to watch. She was 
also a faithful NASCAR follower and loved to cheer for Jeff Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Alden Franklin Bush; 
her mother, Clara Meranda, and her brother, Bobby Meranda.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Linda Bush, Billings Montana, 
Rebecca Houk (husband, Larry), Muncie, Jill Williams (husband, Larry), Muncie; son, 
Michael Bush (wife, Stella), Muncie; six grandchildren, Tracy Wordinger (husband, 
Doug), Muncie, Taryn Manis (husband, Josh), Wilder, Kentucky, Tyler Bush (wife, 
Tonya), Billings, Montana, Sarah Bush (fiance', Luke Boyer), Muncie, Megan Byrum 
(husband, Dave), Yorktown and Kyle Williams, Muncie; twelve great grandchildren, 
Colton and Tatum Bush, Addison Wordinger, Caleb, Camden and Caidyn Lacy, Haley 
and Paris Manis, Taylor Bush, Carson and Annabelle Boyer, and Peyton Bryum. She is 
also survived by her sister, Barbara Hinds and her brother, Bill Meranda as well as 
several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7th at Center 
Chapel United Methodist Church on CR 500 N in Muncie, with Pastor, Dr. Russell T. 
Clements officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, 
IN.

Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Garden View 
Funeral Home 10501 N. State Road 3 in Muncie, IN and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday 
at Center Chapel United Methodist Church.
