After the Resurrection, left Palestine with Philip, Lazarus, Mary Magdalene and others, 
sailed to France. Lazarus and Mary stayed in Marseilles, and the others went north. At 
the Channel, Philip sent Joseph to Britain. Joseph knew Britain well, as he was a 
merchant and conducted trade with the Durotrigian lead miners. He acquired land at 
Glastonbury.
He is also said to be James, who was given the name Joseph and the title Theo-Rama 
(see Gardner's book)
