per 1620 Visitation, this might be Nicholas Carminow, p'son (whatever that means) of 
Laddock, who gave Manor of Ashwater to William and Margaret Carminow. But 
perhaps Nicholas is father of John?
Then there is haha an ancestry entry showing John as the son of a Sir John, in turn 
son of Richard Kelly b 1220. Right. 1220 hahahaha
or is he the John Kelley born in Kelley Devonshire???? (see familysearch)
