He [Geoffrey de Neville] married, before Michaelmas 1176, Emma, daughter of Bertram 
DE BULMER (query by Emma, daughter of Robert FOSSARD), and widow of Geoffrey 
DE VALOIGNES (died 1169) (e). He was dead by Michaelmas 1193. His widow was 
dead in 1208 (g). [Complete Peerage IX:493, transcribed by Dave Utzinger]

(e) She was heir of her brother William, and granddaughter of Ansketil de Bulmer, 
steward of Robert Fossard, by (query) heiress of Piers de Humez of Brancepeth.

(g) When Henry de Neville gave L100 and a palfrey to have 3 fees in Raskelf and 
Sutton, late belonging to Emma de Humez, his mother.
