chr two places but I deleted it. Oops
also christened 5 Oct 1828 Wesleyan, Daventry, Northamptonshire, England
(probably one was mother's home church and one was father's)
came to USA in 1868, as did her dtr (who had 13 children, 12 living)
Living with George H Foley and family in 1900
1900 census says she is b Sept 1825, age 74, married for 50 years (as of 1900 or as
of death of husband?) Seven children, 5 living. Born in England as were her parents.
Spelled O'Brien says arrived 1865

1861 England census says she is born in Manchester. So could she be the one
christened in Warwickshire? Perhaps that is why there is a 6 week delay? But the
birthdate fits, because census taken in Mar 1861 (dtr is b Dec 1860 and is 4 mos old),
and so she would be, as census says, 32.
But note she was also christened in Northamptonshire. This is probably because her
parents of two churches?

Her mother and mother's mother were from Rugby. See note under Gerrard as to his
being in Warwickshire as a servant in 1851 census.

Arrived on 18 Nov 1868 in Boston on the Aleppo, age 29, with dtr Mary age 8, dtr
Theresa age 3, dtr Agnes 4 months.

English BMD record shows a Gerrard O'Bryan md a Frances Parrott in Apr May June
1845 in Manchester. Image not available. I think Parrott is a misread of Parnell.

Anne Margaret O'Brien, wife of late Gerhard, funeral from residence of dtr Mrs. George
H. Foley, 3200 Baring St., Requiem St. Agatha),

2 JUNE 2009: disconneected from William Parnell and Mary Judd as parents based on
Phila City Death Certificate ... but did not delete the Parnell/Judd ancestry because
still unclear who is the Gerrard J O'Brien who married Frances Ann Parnell ... dates fit,
etc. something isn't quite right, is it?
per death cert, parents b England, she died at 3200 Baring St., which is the residence
of her dtr. Says mother's surname is Abrahams but that is incorrect.
Latest guess is that Frances Ann Parnell is Gerrard's first wife and Anne Margaret
Wainhouse is his second.
And perhaps the difficulty in finding her is the possibility she was married to someone
named Abraham and both she and Gerrard were widow(er)s.
