He [Ralph de Toeni] m., between November 1232 and 1234, Pernel, daughter of 
Walter DE LACY (elder brother of Hugh, Earl of Ulster), presumably by his wife 
Margaret, daughter of William DE BRIOUZE. He died about Michaelmas 1239 at sea. 
His widow, who was granted the custody of Maud Castle, 1247-20 June 1251 married, 
before 15 October 1256, Willian DE ST. OMER, and was living, 25 November 1288.
