Thanks for responding and looking into this. I can offer a little more information. The 
following can be found in Domesday Descendants under Baldwin de Oiry:

“Son of Geoffrey d’Oiri and Emecina, whose charter as widow of Walter de Canteloup 
granting the churches of Gedney and Whaplode he confirmed before 1161 (EEA i, 
102). Simon fitz Baldwin de Oiry occurs in a Castle Acre charter (BL Harley 2110, fol. 
73). Named from Oiry, Marne, comm.. Epernay.”

This seems to suggest the name is Emecina rather than Emerina.
