John Arundel son of Reginald Arundel of Sneaton. Tenant of the manor of Sneaton in 
the reign of Richard I [5].

Witness to a grant by Robert Constable of Flamborough to Watton of 4 bovates of 
land in Hilderthorpe dated about 1180-93 [EYC, ii, 254]. Witness, together with his 
cousin Roger Arundel to a licence concerning celebration of divine service in the 
chapel of St. Michael of Octon [EYC, ii, 376].

His heir was his daughter Joan [5].
