Patricia Junkin gives "View-Pont" as an alternate name for Robert. There are two 
towns in Normandy named View-Pont, one in Orne & one in Calvados. Due to the 
marriage of Robert's son Robert to a Maud de Curveville, who is clearly from 
Calvados, I am opting for the View-Pont which is in the departement of Calvados.

Note that Patricia Junkin has this Robert with a birth of about 1060, as the same 
Robert who married Maud de Curveville, stating that a Robert & a William de 
Vipont/Veteriponte/View-Pont were at Hastings. A birth of 1060 is not early enough to 
put one at Hastings. So I am going with Gordon Kirkemo, who has two separate 
Roberts, with this one old enough to participate at Hastings.
