Note: Simon (Sir), of Oliver Castle; Knight Banneret; taken prisoner by English after 
Battle of Dunbar 27 April 1296, but set free to fight for Edward I in Flanders. Warden 
Selkirk Forest 1298, participated on English side Siege Carlaverock 1300 but by 1301 
had switched sides to the Scots again; taken prisoner by the English 1306 and 
hanged, drawn and quartered in London. [Burke's Peerage]
