"Her will (as Patience Lawrence, of Newtown, in Queens County, widow), dated May 
1772 and proved 14 January 1773, mentions her children Joseph, Richard, William, 
Thomas, Samuel, Jonathan and Daniel Lawrence, and her daughter Anna Sackett.  
She also left bequests to numerous "cousins", almost all of whom were her 
descendants.  Children of John and Patience (Sackett) Lawrence: John, born 22 
September 1721 who married Catherine Livingston, Joseph, born 21 March 1723 who 
married Patience Moore, Richard, born 20 June 1725 who married Amy Berrien, 
Nathaniel, born 13 July 1727, William, born 27 July 1729, Anna, born 20 November 
1731, Thomas, born 21 November 1733 who married Elizabeth Fish, Samuel , born 27 
September 1735 who married Elizabeth Hazard, Jonathan, born 4 October 1737 who 
married Judith Fish, Daniel, born 26 November 1739 who married Eva Van Horn, and 
Mary, born 9 February 1740/1."
