Research and translation of abstract by Melanie D. Holtz, CG:
"Ecclesiastical Marriage Record of Domenico Varrone and Marta di Stasio
[Number] 26. 22 May 1738 in Tuoro, jurisdiction of Caserta…on Sunday the 13th of
April, Sunday the 20th of April, and Sunday the 27th of April, gave notice of the intent 
to marry [marriage banns], for whom an impediment in the fourth degree [illegible 
abbreviation] was detected and dispenses of by the diocese, Domenico Varrone and 
Marta di Stasio from Tuoro, jurisdiction of Caserta…[witnesses to the marriage were] 
Nicolo Biscardi, Domenico Ribotta, and Benamino Lobardo of the parish of Santo 
Stefano…[Attachment 11]. FN11
COMMENTS: The parents of this couple were not given. Marta’s surname shows a “di” 
not a “de” in the beginning. These designations are used interchangeably.
A possible baptismal record was found for Domenico Varrone. However, without some 
further proof of age or parent’s names, I cannot determine with certainty whether this 
is the correct record. The parents of this Domenico Varrone were Muzio Varrone and 
Anna Antonia Iannuccio. If this is later determined to be the correct record, I have it 
in my files.

this turns out to be correct, she has his baptism record
