Note: Hugh is not mentioned in Turton's pedigree of Philippe Malbank, just 3 
generations of William preceding Philippe, who married Thomas Basset. On the other 
hand, John Ravilious mentions Hugh, but only 2 generations of William (one as father, 
and the other as son of Hugh), with this William not being present in John's pedigree. 
The dates to me indicate that Hugh & 3 generations of William are all probably 
ancestors of Philippe.
