Note: I am not sure how Peter Montfort, of Beaudesert fits into this family. But the 
possession of Beaudesert indicates that he is closely related. His nephew Thurstan 
(as I have Peter related) became Lord of Beaudesert. Somehow Peter, who must have 
been born about this time, passed Beaudesert to Hugh de Montfort's son Thurstan, or 
perhaps Hugh, being elder brother, held Beaudesert while allowing Peter to reside 
there, and then passed it to his son Thurstan. @@check ancestry
