Note: He [Thomas de Poynings] married, about 1317, Agnes (aged 22 and more in May 
1321), younger daughter and coheir of Richard DE ROKESLEY, of Westwood (in 
Preston) and Ruxley, Kent, by Joan, heir of her brother Bertram DE CRIOL, and 
daughter of Bertram DE CRIOL (died 1295), by Eleanor, younger daughter and coheir 
of Maud D'AVRANCHES. He was killed, 10 October 1339, in an attack on the castle 
of Honnecourt, on the St. Quentin canal, arr. of Cambral. His widow died some time 
before 22 December 1346, and was buried at Poynings. [Complete Peerage X:659-60,
