Richard Foliot, of Norton, & Beatrice or Cecily Bardolf, daughter & heir in her issue of 
Hugh Bardolf, d. c 1176, of Waddington, co. Lincoln, & Isabel de Condet. [Ancestral

Note: In a post 13 Mar 2007, John Ravilious redid the pedigree, and stated that 
Richard was son of Jordan, but that Jordan was a direct descendant by the 1st wife of 
the elder William Foliot who m. Agnes de Arches as his 2nd wife and her 3rd husband. 
Paul Bulkley gave a brief pedigree contained in the Chartulary of St. John Pontefract 
which agreed with this new pedige. Tim Powys-Libbe, citing Clay plus his own 
feelings, thought that there might be another Jordan between the eldest William and 
Richard, but John Ravilious gave estimated dates that showed that the extra Jordan 
was not necessary.
