Notes
On Maria's birth certificate it appears to say Catarina but also Carmina, as someone in 
the original over-wrote. A witness on the certificate is Gennaro 
Sacco, age 60 (sessanta). (born 1751)

But on Maria's death certificate it clear refers to Carmina Sacco.
Most Sacco entries on familysearch are in towns in Sicily.

"Birth and Baptismal Record of Carmina Maria Antonia Sacco
[Number] 105. 22 May 1771, an infant was born to Alessandro Sacco, son of the
deceased Nicola [Sacco], and Palma Esposito, a married couple, who was baptized in 
utero by the midwife Margarita [illegible] Natale and later by Father Silvestre Natale of 
the Parish of San Pietro, hamlet of Garzano, jurisdiction of Caserta, on the 23rd, to 
whom was given the name Carmina Maria Antonia…[see Attachment 1]. FN1
COMMENTS: Being that the midwife first baptized her, there must have been some 
concern that she would not survive her birth.

Ecclesiastical Marriage Record of Carlo Zampella and Carmina Sacco
28 December 1797…in accordance with the sacred Council of Trent prepared the 
solemn promise to marry of Carlo Zampella, son of the deceased Bartolomeo 
[Zampella], and of Carmina Sacco, daughter of the living Alessandro [Sacco], from the 
village of Garzano, jurisdiction of Caserta…I, Father Gennaro Sacco of the Parish of 
San Pietro, village of Garzano, ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Caserta…and by mutual 
consent married this couple in the presence of Aurelio Natale and Pietrangelo Venile…

COMMENTS: This document was written in a confusing way. I have included all
genealogically significant parts of the document in the translation.
Alessandro Sacco was still living in 1797, which corresponds with his 1803 death year 
shown in his death record below.
