ROBERT D. PERNA, 68, of Winslow, Winslow Township, died Sunday at Kessler Memorial Hospital in 
Hammonton. 

Mr. Perna was a heavy equipment operator and member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local No. 825. 

He also worked at the Winslow Township Police Department for 18 years. 

Mr. Perna served in the U.S. Air Force. 

He was born in Winslow. 

Surviving are his wife, Rose; two sons, Dominic of Landenberg, Pa., and Charles of Hammonton; two 
daughters, Chris Saravia of Waterford and Rose Mary Dodimead of Elwood; his mother, Mary of Winslow 
Township; a brother, Gerald of Orange Park, Fla.; a sister, Ellen Berenato of Hammonton; and nine 
grandchildren. 

Services will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., where friends 
may call two hours earlier. Burial will be private. 

Donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton 08037.
