Karen is a psychiatric nurse. She worked at the Eastern State School 
and Hospital for six years, and at Philadelphia State Hospital for four 
years. Presently, Karen works at Hampton Hospital, a private 
psychiatric hospital, in Rancocas, N.J. She is nurse coordinator on the 
neuropsychiatric evaluation unit.
Karen received the Staff Nurse of the Year Award from the Pennsylvania 
Nurses' Association. She is a senior at Philadelphia College of Textile 
and Science, pursuing a B.S. in health care administration.
