MOULTRIE -- Janet Maule Dowell, 61, of Moultrie died Thursday, May 29, 2003, at her 
residence. 

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, at Lifespring Community Church 
with the Revs. Julian Griner and J.E. Moak officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest 
Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Willie Farrell, Don Ritchie, Robert McFadden, 
Bobby Gay, David McLemore and Charles "Mack" McCoy. 

Born Oct. 24, 1941, in Jackson County, Mich., Ms. Dowell was the daughter of June 
DeEtta Maule and the late Belford D. Maule. She was the secretary/treasurer for 
Maule Air, Inc. and was a member of Lifespring Community Church. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Allen Hanley. 

Survivors include her long-time companion, Walter McHan; daughters, Laura Hanley 
Pitts and husband Kenneth of Moultrie and Susan Murdie of Jackson, Mich.; her 
mother, June Maule of Moultrie; brothers, Raymond, Gary and David Maule, all of 
Moultrie; a sister, Shirley Maule of Moultrie; and two grandchildren, Robert Clifton Pitts 
and Christi Laurele Pitts. 

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be made to Colquitt County Hospice. 

Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
