17 Apr 1987 Telegraph: "NEW IPSWICH -- Edna M. Hollis, 92, of New Ipswich, died 
Wednesday at her home after a sudden illness. 
"Mrs. Hollis was born in East Weare April 20, 1894, daughter of the late Alfred and 
Lizzie (Burnham) Marshall. She had resided 57 years in Antrim before moving to New 
Ipswich. Before her retirement, she was a school teacher.
"She was a member of the Antrim Baptist Church Quilting Group and the Ladies 
Sewing Circle for many years.
"Mrs. Hollis and her husband started and operated the Southwestern New Hampshire 
Transportation Co. She was the widow of Guy Hollis, who died in 1956.
"Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth M. Champney of St. David, Ariz., 
Beverly H. Bigelow of Antrim and Natalie H. Somero of New Ipswich; 10 grandchildren, 
23 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildre; a niece; and a nephew.
"The Holt Funeral Home in Henniker is in charge of arrangements."
