HARRIETTE I. BARKER Harriette I. Barker, a native Atlantan died December 5, 2004. 
She was 87. Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her husband Ralph C. Barker, 
parents Earnest D. Ivey architect in Atlanta and Minnie Augusta Fambrough Ivey and 
her sister Mary Jean Royer. Mrs. Barker was a well-known commercial artist. She was 
a graduate of Girls High in Atlanta and Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn, New York. 
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Caldwell Barker, III and Susan 
Barker, Raymond Paul and Pam Barker; sisters, Nan Wilson (Robert) of Clearwater, 
Florida, Betty McCowan (Allen) of Knoxville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held 
Wednesday, December 8th at eleven o'clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with the 
Reverend Ron Poch, Pastor of North Atlanta Praise Fellowship officiating. Interment 
Westview. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight o'clock 
at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 
30319, (404) 261-3510.
