p.m. Tuesday May 17, 2005 in the Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pa. She was 
born January 9, 1913 in Gunnison, Colorado the daughter of the late Jesse and Helen 
Revere Phelps. She was the owner and operator of the Emery's French Creek General 
Store from 1957 to 1973. She also owned a Mobile Trailer court on Rt 426 Clymer. She 
was a member of the Community Church of Cutting. She enjoyed reading and working 
outside. Survivors: Son: Lawrence Brice Emery of Houston, Texas. Four Daughters: 
Leah Lipchik of Canadohta, Pa. Carla Eaton of Phoenix, Ariz. Sherry Skopow of North 
East, Pa. Charlotte Carnes of Harborcreek, Pa. 16 Grandchildren 18 Great 
Grandchildren Four Great Great Grandchildren Five Sisters and one Brother Preceded 
Husband Lawrence M. Emery whom she married April 21, 1933 and died June 5, 2002, 
two Brothers and four Sisters A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday May 20, 
2005 in the Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer with the Rev. Rick Maas pastor of the 
Community Church of Cutting officiate. Burial will be in the Cutting Cemetery. Friends 
will be received in the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Memorials may 
be made to the Community Church of Cutting, 9765 Rt. 474 Clymer, N.Y. 14724.
